lazyloaded images appear in Google PageSpeed Insights

On our website we have a menu with tabs and images. Images are hidden under the tabs and should be loaded only when the tab is open. We use this javascript lazyload library to achieve this.

When i open my network i see that everything is ok and images are being loaded only when i open the tab and the image area is visible.

When i run google page speed insights i see that it complains about poor optimization of these images.

Should it even see these lazyloaded images? I thought it fetches only plain rendered part of the website, it can't open the tabs. So how it fetches those images?

UPD: gtmetrix does not complain about these images and, as expected, does not even show them as loaded in gtmetrix waterfall.
