Ubuntu real-time kernel with NVIDIA GPU

I am unable to boot Ubuntu into real-time kernel with Nvidia GPU drivers enabled. Apparently the Ubuntu NVIDIA drivers lack real-time kernel support. Does anyone know a workaround? Or is the only sensible solution to swich Linux distro to get real-time kernel and CUDA running at the same time?
