check document direction with sass

so I want to check document direction to change some styles based on language with SASS



so how to do it with sass



@if document[dir] == rtl {

}


it did not work out

  • SASS does not know about this, and neither does CSS as far as I know. You could attach a value to the body with js and then use @at-root body[direction="rtl"] & {} to match the current setup of the document. Not sure if you could use media queries for this.
