I have an item VO, which contains some parameters as follow:

  • itemid(String)

  • itemName(String)

  • uom(Uom)

And Uom is another VO, which contains some parameters as follow:

  • uomid(String)

  • uqty(int)

I want to set up two servlets, which can handle the following situations:

  • /REST/items/ <--user can search the item by Name/id here

  • /REST/items/{itemId}/uoms/ <-- user can search the linked uom of the item

Can I config my web.xml like this?

</servlet-mapping>

<servlet>
<servlet-name>item</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>com.Servlet.item</servlet-class>

</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>item</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/item</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>

</servlet-mapping>

<servlet>
<servlet-name>itemUom</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>com.Servlet.itemUom</servlet-class>

</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>itemUom</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/item/*/uoms</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
