Is there a dynamic way to create gulp.dest folders based on gulp.src locale strings while using fileinclude...

gulp.task('fileinclude', function () {
gulp.src(['templates/*.html', 'templates/fr/*.html', 'templates/pt/*.html'])
.pipe(fileinclude({
prefix: '@@',
basepath: '@file'
}))
.pipe(gulp.dest('./'));
});
I want this to generate /fr
and /pt
folders. Is there a dynamic way to do this versus creating 3 different gulp.task
s for each of the locales. I want to avoid 3 different gulp.tasks
.
Basically, what this code does is assemble templates inside the templates
folder which can contain e.g. template/index.html
, template/fr/index.html
, template/pt/index.html
and then spit it out to ./
.
In my current code however it will create 3 index.html
files that won't work. It probably would override them in my opinion. Eitherway, my solution is broken.

You could look at gulp-flatmap npmjs.com/package/gulp-flatmap or glob.sync, see, e.g., stackoverflow.com/questions/52839227/capture-and-reuse-a-glob/…
