Currently, my logback configuration is creating new log file daily.
I would like to change the configuration to keep the saves for 14 days, but set the max file size to 50MB.

I use <maxFileSize>50MB</maxFileSize> to set the maximum file size of the log to 50MB.

As for keeping the logs for 14 days (2 weeks), I do not know how to change it.

This is what I have so far:

  <appender name="FILE-AUDIT"
class="ch.qos.logback.core.rolling.RollingFileAppender">
<file>${LOG_PATH}/myapp_debug.log</file>
<encoder class="ch.qos.logback.classic.encoder.PatternLayoutEncoder">
<Pattern>
%d{yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss} - %msg%n
</Pattern>
</encoder>
<rollingPolicy class="ch.qos.logback.core.rolling.TimeBasedRollingPolicy">
<!-- rollover daily -->
<fileNamePattern>${LOG_PATH}/archived/myapp_debug.%d{yyyy-MM-dd}.%i.log
</fileNamePattern>
<timeBasedFileNamingAndTriggeringPolicy
class="ch.qos.logback.core.rolling.SizeAndTimeBasedFNATP">
<maxFileSize>50MB</maxFileSize>
</timeBasedFileNamingAndTriggeringPolicy>
</rollingPolicy>
</appender>

I can see some sources in the internet that rollover weekly and they just use something like:

<fileNamePattern>${LOG_PATH}/archived/myapp_debug.%d{yyyy-ww}.%i.log

but as for my requirement, I just need to keep the log and not rollover.

Also, the sample above works weekly... 2 weeks.

Thanks!
